Semoga sukses dengan Adaptor PC PlayStation VR2 – kamu akan membutuhkannya

Sony’s PSVR 2 virtual reality headset faces a major issue with the lack of available games. The hope was that the PC adapter from Sony would address this problem, particularly with the opportunity to play Half-Life: Alyx, considered one of the best VR games to date. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Sony’s PC adapter at this time. The $60 adapter purchase did not live up to expectations, and if I had bought it myself, I would have requested a refund. Despite this setback, the $550 PSVR 2 headset itself remains impressive, offering superior image quality compared to the newer $500 Meta Quest 3. Playing Half-Life: Alyx on the PSVR 2 provides a more vibrant and thrilling experience, with the OLED screen enhancing colors and true blacks creating a more immersive environment.

Unfortunately, my experience with the PSVR 2 PC adapter was marred by technical issues, such as hand tracking glitches and connectivity problems with the controllers. The adapter, which combines USB-A and DisplayPort inputs into a single USB-C port for the headset, does not support controller connectivity, requiring users to figure out Bluetooth connectivity on their own. Additionally, several flagship features of the PSVR 2 are not supported on PC, including HDR, eye tracking, adaptive triggers, and DualSense haptic feedback. The limited sweet spot for lens clarity and short battery life of the controllers further detract from the overall experience.

Despite multiple troubleshooting attempts and efforts to address the issues with the adapter, including testing different Bluetooth adapters, the problems persisted. The lack of responsiveness and tracking accuracy of the controllers, as well as frequent system crashes when accessing the SteamVR overlay, led me to conclude that Sony’s PC adapter is not yet ready for use on PC.
