Here’s what’s on the radar this week: The DropHalide’s Process Zero: Halide has always been a top-notch camera app for iPhone and iPad, but their latest feature that provides a raw, unprocessed image is incredibly fun to experiment with. Give it a go this weekend. (A big shoutout to all of you who recommended this!)The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold: Despite the clunky name, this foldable phone from Google looks impressive. The design seems to be spot on this time, and the ability to use Gemini alongside an app on a larger screen is a game-changer. While there are several new Pixel devices on the market, the Fold has me most excited.Gemini Live: It’s a big week for talkative voice assistants! OpenAI introduced Advanced Voice Mode for ChatGPT, which is both fascinating and slightly eerie. Google also showcased Gemini Live, which falls into the same category. I’m curious to see if these features will evolve from novelty to practical use.Alien: Romulus: Regardless of the movie’s quality (the reviews are mixed so far), I’m thrilled to reenter the Alien universe. You can bet I’ll be catching this film in the biggest, loudest theater I can find.”
