AI technology has been used to facilitate the surveillance and oppression of Palestinians, with companies like Google and Amazon signing contracts to provide cloud computing services to the Israeli government. These tech giants have faced backlash from their own employees and activists for their complicity in Israeli human rights abuses. In addition, companies like IBM have been involved in creating systems used to control and segregate the Palestinian population, similar to their support for apartheid-era South Africa.
