JAKARTA – Irjen Pol Mohamad Hendra Suhartiyono is a high-ranking officer of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) who is currently serving as the Senior Lecturer at the National Police Academy (Akpol) Polri since December 28, 2023 until now.
A graduate of the Indonesian Police Academy (Akpol) in 1991, he has experience in the field of criminal investigation. Born in Madiun, East Java on May 18, 1967, Mohamad Hendra Suhartiyono began his career in the Bhayangkara Corps as a Pama Dit Samapta Polri, and then as a Pama STIK PTIK.
Gradually, Mohamad Hendra Suhartiyono’s career continued to progress, with him holding several strategic positions in the Indonesian National Police. In the early stages of the Reform Era in 1998, he was appointed as the Ops Kaset of Puskodal Polres Metro Jakpus Polda Metro Jaya, and then as the Kasat Serse of Polres Metro Jakpus Polda Metro Jaya.
From Central Jakarta, Mohamad Hendra Suhartiyono was entrusted with the position of Kanit Subditkamneg of Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, and then as the Kapolsek Metro Penjaringan of Polres Jakut. After serving for a long time in the capital city of Jakarta, he was transferred to become the Kapolres Sukabumi Kota of Polda Jabar, the Kapolres Tasikmalaya Kota of Polda Jabar, and eventually the Wadirreskrimsus of Polda Jabar.
Having served as an Analyst in the Middle Policy Field of PDAKT Pusiknas Bareskrim Mabes Polri, Mohamad Hendra Suhartiyono was again entrusted with a regional command as the Kapolresta Barelang of Polda Kepri, but he was recalled after less than a year and appointed as the Pusiknas Bareskrim Polri in 2014.
After serving for two years, Mohamad Hendra Suhartiyono was then transferred to become the Dirpolair of Polda Bali, and then the Dirreskrimsus of Polda Jateng, the Dirreskrimum of Polda Jabar, and the Karo PID of Divhumas Polri before finally being appointed as the Senior Lecturer at the National Police Academy (Akpol) Polri until now.
His appointment as a lecturer is justified considering Mohamad Hendra Suhartiyono has participated in various education programs. After graduating from Akpol, he continued his education at the Indonesian Police Science Institute (PTIK), and then at the Middle Leadership and Staff School (Sespimmen) and the Senior Leadership and Staff School (Sespimti) in 2017.
Not only that, Mohamad Hendra Suhartiyono has also participated in development programs such as the Criminal Investigation Specialist Course (Daspa Serse) in 1994, the Intelligence Specialist Course (Daspa Intel), the Mobile Brigade Specialist Course (Daspa Brimob) in 1996, and the Assessment of the Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dirreskrim) in 2015 and the Assessment of the Water Police Directorate (Dirpolair) in 2016.
