The Mobile World Conference, MWC 2025, has begun in Barcelona, where tech companies gather annually to showcase upcoming mobile devices. Lenovo has introduced a range of new laptops at the event, including the convertible ThinkPad T14s and the powerful Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition. The company also presented some intriguing prototypes, hinting at future innovations. While details may change, a few models have expected prices and release dates.
The ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 is the first convertible laptop in its series, featuring a 14-inch touchscreen display that can be folded back to transform into a tablet. The laptop prioritizes functionality over style, with options for different display brightness levels. Lenovo has made improvements to the TrackPoint Keyboard for enhanced comfort. The ThinkPad T14s is set to launch in June 2025 with a starting price of $1,719.
The sixth-generation ThinkPad X13 is one of Lenovo’s lightest designs, weighing just 2.05 pounds. It offers a choice between Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI Pro processors, with up to 64GB of RAM. The device incorporates artificial intelligence for automation and enhanced tools, such as a 5MP + IR webcam for improved video calls. The ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 is expected to launch in June with a starting price of $1,139.
The Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition is a powerful model designed for creative workloads, featuring an Intel Core Ultra processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. It includes software like Lenovo Creator Zone and Lenovo X Power to optimize performance for creative tasks. The laptop sports a 16-inch 3.2K PureSight Pro display and is set to launch in Q2 2025 with a potential starting price of $1,799.
The IdeaPad Slim 3x is a more budget-friendly option, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X chipset for fast performance and long battery life. It features a 15.1-inch OLED touchscreen and supports Wi-Fi 7. The IdeaPad Slim 3x will be released later this month for $649.
Lenovo also showcased prototypes like the ThinkBook “codename Flip” AI PC and the Yoga Solar, with innovative features such as a foldable OLED display for multitasking.
