Today, I had a conversation with Jesse Lyu, the founder and CEO of Rabbit. Their startup has created the r1 AI gadget, a handheld device designed by Teenage Engineering that allows users to interact with an AI agent to perform tasks like playing music or ordering from Amazon. Despite a hyped launch at CES, early reviews of the device were negative, with many features not working as promised.
Jesse discussed Rabbit’s large action model (LAM) which enables the system to browse the web and perform tasks.
