The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards tengah berlangsung, memberikan penghormatan kepada sejumlah nama besar dan acara televisi terbaik sepanjang tahun lalu.
Dibawakan oleh komedian Nate Bargatze, upacara Emmy tahun ini sekali lagi diselenggarakan di Peacock Theater, L.A. Live di Los Angeles. Kabar baiknya, bagi mereka yang di AS dan tidak berkesempatan hadir, tetap dapat menonton Emmy Awards 2025 secara langsung lewat CBS.

Severance diprediksi hampir pasti akan membawa pulang piala malam ini, dengan total 27 nominasi yang mengesankan. Acara populer tersebut diikuti oleh drama kriminal The Penguin dengan 24 nominasi, sementara The Studio dan The White Lotus masing-masing meraih 23 nominasi. Sementara itu, The Last of Us dan Hacks menerima 16 dan 14 nominasi secara berturut-turut.

Yang mengejutkan, Andor hanya menerima satu nominasi Primetime Emmy Award, tanpa satupun pemainnya yang bersaing di kategori akting mana pun.
