Howard University Professor Kiah Duggins was identified as one of the individuals on the flight by Howard University. Recovery efforts are ongoing in Washington DC after an American Airlines plane from Kansas, carrying 64 passengers, collided with a military helicopter manned by three personnel on Wednesday night.
The victims of the crash include top figure skaters from the US and Russia, a young pilot, flight attendants, and a lawyer who was traveling home on her birthday. Some of the individuals believed to have been on board the helicopter and the plane are listed below:
Passengers:
– Asra Hussain Raza, a 26-year-old Indiana woman who had recently received a master’s degree in hospital management and was returning from a work trip.
– Professor Kiah Duggins, a civil rights lawyer who was set to teach at Howard University’s School of Law in the autumn.
– Sarah Lee Best and Elizabeth Keys, both lawyers who were on board the flight.
– Casey Crafton, a dedicated father from Salem, Connecticut.
– Michael Stovall, known as Mikey, who was described as the happiest person and had been on an annual hunting trip with friends.
– Jesse Pitcher, a 30-year-old from Maryland who had recently started his own business.
– Colonel Pergentino N. Malabed, a Philippine police officer who was on board the flight.
