Fountains of lava have erupted from a crack in south-west Iceland, marking the third volcanic eruption since December.
Impressive footage from the Reykjanes peninsula captured the flow of molten rock along a 3km (1.86 miles) long crack near Sylingarfell.
Columns of lava surged more than 50m (160ft) high into the sky, witnessed by a Coast Guard helicopter that flew over the peninsula early on Thursday morning.
Following the previous eruption on January 14, the nearby town of Grindavik had already been evacuated. Now, due to the latest eruption, guests were instructed to leave the popular Blue Lagoon geothermal spa on Thursday.
