says. “We need to be part of the conversation about how we are going to use these tools. We need to be part of the conversation about what’s going to happen when AI starts to generate art. We need to be part of the conversation about what happens when AI starts to have consciousness. And those conversations are happening.”Devlin is also clear on the importance of the individual artist’s voice in a world that can sometimes feel dominated by technology. “I think it’s important for artists to be able to speak in their own voice,” she says. “I think that’s what gives the work its particular power.”And that power is palpable in Congregation.
