Peter: openly as possible. I knew that I had to use my voice and my platform to fight for change and to advocate for those who couldn’t speak up for themselves. And Jes, how did you navigate your career at J.P. Morgan while also supporting your brother and his activism? Jes: It was a delicate balance. I had to walk a fine line between supporting Peter and his work while also maintaining my own career and reputation at the bank. I tried to use my influence and position to advocate for diversity and inclusion within the workplace, including LGBT rights. And I also made sure to support Peter in any way I could, whether it was through fundraising or connecting him with resources. It was a challenging time, but it ultimately strengthened our bond as brothers and as allies in the fight for social justice. Peter: And I think it’s important to note that Jes was able to rise to the top of his field while also advocating for change from within the system. He showed that you can be successful and make a difference at the same time. Jes: Thank you, Peter. I learned so much from you and your courage. And I am proud to call you my brother. Peter: And I am proud to call you my brother as well, Jes. Thank you for always supporting me and standing by my side. Together, we have shown that love and acceptance can conquer even the greatest challenges. And we will continue to fight for a better, more inclusive world for all.
