Previously, Indonesia had already hosted Sportel 2023 in Bali. This year’s event is slightly different as it is combined with golf and triathlon events.
Golf and triathlon were chosen to reflect the essence of sports in terms of precision and endurance. The Sportel Bali Rendez-vous 2024 series will be held from February 21 to 25, 2024 at the Intercontinental Resort Hotel, Jimbaran, Bali.

In addition to enriching the tourism agenda, this event is also supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, which contributes to the development of tourism and the creative economy, especially in Bali.
Sportel has played a crucial role in the global sports broadcasting industry for three decades. Now, they are ready to reach the Asia-Pacific market with the event “Sportel Rendez-vous Bali 2024”.

This event will feature exhibitions, talk shows, discussions, and meetings between sports content owners and television operators. This year’s conference will be attended by various top figures in the sports industry, especially in relation to content and broadcasting.
Some well-known names include AVIA, BEIN Sports, FIFA, Fight Nation, FOX, NBA, Premier League, Serie A, Warner Bros Discovery.
In addition to being attended by international sports industry players, this year’s conference will also be attended by representatives from the broadcasting and sports industry in Indonesia, including the Indonesian Video Streaming Association (AVISI), Bali United, EMTEK Group, MNC Group, Transmedia Group, and TVRI.
Golf, as one of the sports favored by many people who prioritize precision, not only provides significant health benefits but is also often used as a fun hobby and an opportunity to build professional networks.
Therefore, Sportel Rendez-vous Bali 2024 is holding the Sportel Bali Golf Classic 2024 with the aim of providing opportunities for beginners and golf enthusiasts to participate in this event and experience valuable experiences.
This golf tournament will take place on February 21-22, 2024 at New Kuta Golf and Bali National Golf Club. The competition reached full capacity one month in advance and will be attended by 7 participants from abroad and 16 female golfers.
Sportel Rendez-vous Bali 2024 also has a reason to hold a triathlon. This sport, known for its focus on strength and endurance, will add a unique touch to the event.
The Sportel Bali Triathlon 2024 will witness the birth of talented triathlon athletes. Unlike golf, this triathlon competition will take place on February 25, 2024, in the Jimbaran area and will be attended by more than 350 participants from both domestic and international.

One of the triathlon athletes participating in the event is Chaidir Akbar. Chaidir said that this event is prestigious in the world and brings Indonesia’s good name to the international level.
In addition, this event will also have an impact on the tourism sector in Bali and expand to other regions in Indonesia. The man who has participated in the triathlon 70 times said that it is not easy to complete the sport to reach the finish line.
He said that every athlete can finish the sport for up to 4.5 hours ahead. He advised every athlete participating in the event to know how to maintain their physical condition while swimming, cycling, and running.
“I believe that if we teach children from an early age about this sport, they will definitely become quality athletes for Indonesia. We will have a stronger nation,” said Chaidir.
