In 2024, AI has played a significant role in my productivity. I have explored various aspects of AI innovation through multiple articles on ZDNET. While I test generative AI for text creation, I do not use it for my articles. As a professional writer, I do not rely on AI to craft words, but I acknowledge its benefits for those less experienced in writing.
I have divided my AI usage into two categories: experimentation and productivity enhancement. Experimentation involves testing different AI tools, while productivity enhancement focuses on saving time and streamlining workflows. Throughout the year, AI has helped me in various ways, such as programming, code explanation, debugging, customer sentiment analysis, image creation, photo editing, and vector graphics generation.
I have used AI to create album covers, clean up photos, and produce monthly e-commerce images. AI tools like Photoshop’s generative fill and Adobe Illustrator’s generative vector fill have been particularly useful in my workflow. Additionally, AI-powered video editing features, such as masking in Final Cut Pro, have improved the quality of my video content.
