Perusahaan Startup Paling Menjanjikan di London pada Tahun 2024

Last year, in the “Start-Up, Scale-Up” review report, Chancellor Rachel Reeves pledged to transform Britain into the world’s leading high-growth startup hub. Six months into the new government, entrepreneurs are still optimistic about the promises outlined in the Labour manifesto. Shilpika Gautam, CEO of greentech startup Opna, praises Labour’s energy policies, particularly the Great British Energy initiative and the 2030 decarbonization targets. She believes that the UK should catch up with other countries’ policy and financing innovations, such as the Inflation Reduction Act in the US.

Amit Gudka, founder of Field, supports Labour’s plans to increase onshore wind, solar, and offshore wind by 2030. He feels that these plans are ambitious but achievable if the government maintains a clear policy direction and establishes a stable regulatory environment. In the healthcare sector, Meri Beckwith, cofounder of Lindus Health, appreciates Labour’s commitment to reform the NHS and work with private companies to tackle the healthcare system’s challenges.

Despite the positive outlook, the impact of 14 years of Conservative rule still lingers. The UK government had to cancel a £1.3 billion commitment for tech and AI projects due to a lack of allocated funds. This underscores the challenges faced by the current government in balancing fiscal priorities. Robin Tuluie, founder of PhysicsX, acknowledges the difficult decisions that the chancellor and Labour government must make to address these challenges.

In the startup scene, companies like Robin AI, Gaia Family, GetHarley, Lindus Health, Field, and Opna are making significant strides in their respective industries. Robin AI’s legal assistant streamlines legal processes for businesses, while Gaia Family offers a new approach to fertility treatments with a focus on outcomes and pricing transparency. GetHarley connects patients with skincare practitioners online, and Lindus Health revolutionizes clinical trials with technology-driven solutions. Field contributes to grid stability with its battery storage technology, and Opna facilitates funding for carbon removal projects to combat climate change.
