How did Popflex come about?
Popflex really came about because of my love for fashion and my frustration with the fitness apparel that was available at the time. I felt like everything was just so basic and boring. And I wanted to create something that was fun, vibrant, and really made you feel good when you put it on. So I started designing my own pieces and wearing them in my workout videos. And again, my community responded so positively to them. They wanted to know where they could get them, and that’s when I realized there was a real opportunity to create my own fitness apparel line.
It was a leap of faith, for sure, to start a whole new business on top of running Blogilates. But I really believe in following your passions and taking risks. And it’s paid off. Popflex has grown into a successful brand that women all over the world love and trust.
What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?
My biggest piece of advice is to listen to your gut and follow your heart. Don’t let anyone else dictate your path or tell you what you should or shouldn’t be doing. Trust yourself and your instincts. And don’t be afraid to take risks. Sometimes the biggest rewards come from stepping outside of your comfort zone.
Also, surround yourself with people who support and uplift you. Building a business is hard work, and you need a strong support system to help you through the tough times. And finally, never stop learning and growing. The world is constantly changing, and you need to adapt and evolve with it. Stay curious, stay hungry, and keep pushing yourself to be the best you can be.
What’s next for you and your businesses?
I’m always looking for ways to innovate and grow. I have big plans for both Blogilates and Popflex, including expanding our product lines, reaching new audiences, and continuing to inspire and empower women all over the world. I’m excited to see where this journey takes us and to continue making a positive impact on the lives of others.
